Ultimate home workout

I feel like lockdown is becoming quite normal now. After talking to clients today, they're feeling the same. With new routines in place, home workouts and bodyweight exercises in place. We have refocused, being accountable and their goals will still be achieved. I've decided to rename lockdown "tidy up" eliminating old habits and replacing with the new., Focusing on sleep more, eating better, reducing stress and making time for ourselves.

I believe next week is week 5 of lockdown.
How are you doing?
How are you feeling?

I want to cover workouts today. As it's a tough one to get your head with lots of mixed information out there. Whether you trained before lockdown or not, it’s likely that you’ve noticed the drop in your daily movement since transitioning into a quarantined state.
The question is:
Should we be training if we’re spending so much time locked up indoors?
What kind of training should that be?

It’s important to remember that training is not just about burning fat and building muscleThere is a huge range of benefits to training aside from burning calories, the discipline involved with consistency and performing tasks, even when there are days you don’t want to. This is usually followed by a sense of pride and self-confidence for having taken control of your mindset.

Tips for your workouts

  1. Try to include some form of resistance training.

  2. More frequent sessions will likely yield the best result.

  3. Enjoyment of your training

  4. Use this opportunity to acquire further skills

If you’d like to start or continue training at home but are unsure about what to do, then consider online coaching. It will provide the structure and accountability required to still make great improvements in this time of worrying and frustration.

Stay positive,
